CO2NE is focused on ‘local’ green energy generation.

We provide heat, cooling and green electricity, primarily generated from Sweden’s abundant wood fuels resource, to municipalities, district heating networks and industry.

Typical sites include:

  • Villages of a few hundred houses
  • Satellite / Booster PowerStation to existing district heating networks
  • Inclusion within new-build developments and DH networks
  • Industrial process heat / cooling / power

Straightforward permitting

One of CO2NE’s core objectives when developing a new PowerStation site is to ensure it’s impact on its surroundings is minimal and therefore its entire ‘permitting’ – planning permissions, environmental impact assessment, hazard assessment, grid connections etc – is as straightforward as possible. This is forefront in our mind when selecting technologies, fuels, locations, building design etc etc. As and example, where we build a Biomass Gasification based PowerStation, the total height is less than 9m and the PowerStation does not even have a chimney
